Skin Care

I use Bioelements and Rhonda Allison skin care products exclusively in the salon. Both skin care lines use the highest quality "cosmeceutical" ingredients and have designed products that can be customized for different skin types.

Each facial is freshly prepared at the time of your service (based on oily, dry/dehydrated, sensitive, acne, or normal/combination skin types). In addition to the professional only products used during salon facial, your home-care products can be further customized to meet your needs.  Exfoliation is included with each facial because it improves penetration of products, removes dead surface cells, smoothes fine lines and improves texture (the exfoliation method can vary between the various facials).

The dry, high altitude climate of Colorado presents many challenges for maintaining the appearance of healthy skin. Drastic temperature changes, extremely dry air, wind, and intense sun exposure are detrimental to our skin no matter the season. Regular customized facials and an individualized home-care plan can help combat these extreme and constant assaults to our skin so it remains in its healthiest condition for the longest time.

Please plan on about 1 to 1-½ hours for most facials, plus a few extra minutes during your first appointment for a skin evaluation and discussion of your home-care plan.

You are welcome to call if you have any additional questions.

      Nail Care

I use Creative Nail Design products for acrylic (sometimes referred to as Solar Nails) and gel (Brisa) enhancements. In addition, I have a large selection of OPI, Jessica, Creative, Essie and Zoya (formaldehyde and toluene free) polishes. I do not use an electric file unless I remove extra length on enhancements.

Waxing

The Cirepil is imported from France and is formulated in many types to accommodate to different hair removal services. The hard rose wax is designed to produce the best results for sensitive areas or shorter hair length (facial, bikini, or brazilian bikini).  Cirepil soft wax is selected for use on legs, arms, etc. Because we are in Colorado, it is important to schedule waxing services after the skin has a few days to recover from overexposure in the sun.
